Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 21 July 2026
Energy Skills wants everyone to be able to use this website. This includes people with poor eyesight, those who have difficulty reading, or those who operate the website using only a keyboard. To achieve this, we follow the European rules for digital accessibility (the European Accessibility Act) and the WCAG 2.2 guidelines, level AA.
What have we done?
- All text is written in simple language (language level B1).
- The website is available in Dutch and English.
- All text colours have been checked for contrast to ensure readability.
- The website works with a keyboard. You can always clearly see where you are (focus).
- There is a link to jump directly to the registration form.
- Images have a text description for people using a screen reader.
- Form fields have clear labels. In case of an error, we explain what's wrong.
- Moving parts stop when your device indicates that you prefer reduced motion.
- The website works on mobile, tablet and computer.
What else are we working on?
- An official accessibility assessment by an independent party has not yet been carried out. This statement is based on our own research. We plan a formal audit.
- We cannot make documents that visitors upload themselves (such as a CV) accessible; these come from the visitor themselves.
